During our research online, we discovered the following:

In a recent survey/study:

1. Retirees who had seen an adviser received, on average, £7000 more income per year in retirement than those who hadn’t.
2. Almost half of 50-75 year olds were either unaware of “pension-freedoms” or didn’t know the impact “pensions-freedoms” could have on them.
This dropped to just 33% for those who had used a financial adviser
3. 45% of people aged 50-75 are worried that their pension pot won’t last the duration of their retirement
4. Close to 40% of upcoming retirees are unsure when and how to access their pensions.
